About ForexEAWatch

ForexEAWatch exists because the forex EA market has a trust problem. Too many vendors sell robots backed by doctored backtests, rented Myfxbook accounts, and marketing copy designed to separate traders from their money. We started this site to fix that.

Our Mission

Our goal is straightforward: bring transparency to the forex EA market. Every EA we review gets tested under real conditions on demo accounts with verified brokers. We publish what we find — the good, the bad, and the parts the vendor would rather you didn't know about.

We don't believe in handing out perfect scores to keep vendors happy. A 7/10 from ForexEAWatch means an EA actually performs in live market conditions. That's more than most in this space can say. When an EA doesn't hold up, we say so plainly. Traders deserve that honesty before they put real money on the line.

Who We Are

The EA Watch Team is a group of traders who got burned by bad EAs and decided to do something about it. We've been there — bought the robot that "guaranteed" 300% annual returns, watched it blow an account in three weeks, then found out the vendor's Myfxbook was faked. That experience is what drives everything we do here.

Combined, our team has over 20 years of forex trading and algorithmic trading experience. We've traded manually, built our own EAs, run signal services, and tested hundreds of commercial robots. We know what a real equity curve looks like — and more importantly, we know what a fake one looks like.

We're not a corporate media operation. We're traders who review tools for other traders. That keeps our priorities in the right place.

Our Independence

Independence is the foundation this site is built on. Here's how we protect it:

  • 1. We buy EAs ourselves. Whenever possible, we purchase EAs with our own money at full retail price. For products where we request a review copy, we disclose that clearly in the review.
  • 2. Vendors don't pay for reviews. No vendor has ever paid us to write a review. We don't offer "sponsored reviews" or "premium placement" in our rankings.
  • 3. Affiliate links fund the site, not the scores. Yes, we use affiliate links. Running VPS servers, broker accounts, and buying EAs costs money. But affiliate relationships never influence our scores. We've given low ratings to products with generous affiliate programs, and we've recommended products with no affiliate program at all.

If we ever feel a conflict of interest could compromise a review, we disclose it upfront. Trust is the only thing we have — we're not going to trade it away for a commission.

How We're Different

Most EA review sites fall into one of two categories: affiliates who rate everything 5 stars to earn commissions, or forums full of unverified opinions. We're neither.

We forward test on live demo accounts

Every EA runs on a real demo account with a reputable broker. We track results through verified Myfxbook accounts that anyone can check.

We verify vendor claims

Vendor says "99% win rate"? We check. Claims of "500% annual returns"? We verify. If the numbers don't match reality, we call it out.

We're skeptics by default

An EA has to prove itself before we recommend it. Our starting assumption is that any EA is guilty until proven innocent. That's the only sane approach in a market flooded with scams.

We update our reviews

Markets change, EAs update, performance shifts. We re-test quarterly and update scores accordingly. A review from last year still reflects current performance.
